Empire State Building will be illuminated Pink/Pink/White from April 27 to 29 in honor of the Sakura Centennial. I’m highly tempted to drive up to Weehawken to take pictures. Even though they will probably look crappy ‘cause I have unsteady hands and lack a tripod.

I first heard about the BIGBANG Cover Contest through their agency’s (YG) twitter. I’ve been wanting to record a violin cover of a song that I really enjoy, and couldn’t think of a better opportunity than this. BIGBANG is one of my favorite kpop artists. Fortunately, I have extremely talented friends that share my interests and were able to make this video amazing. Grace took charge as Director and took part in pretty much every aspect of the video. She had a vision, I liked it, and it took off from there. Dan was an excellent Director of Photography. He worked very well in shooting in the exact way we wanted, and was very patient with us. He is also responsible for some of the amazing locations we shot at. Bisda did a fantastic job in producing the audio, (as expected). He sacrificed many tedious hours making the track perfect. Luke took the role as Assistant DP and our shoot would not have gone as well as it did without him. He is responsible for some of the great shots from the video as well as all of the photos from the shoot. So what I’m trying to say is the team that I worked with is awesome and a whole lot of fun to work with! If you’re curious you can check them all out below:
